Desired Skills- Injection molding experience, machine design experience, knowledge of GD&T drawings. Proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
Duties and Responsibilities-You will work with a diverse group of engineers and technicians to help develop Vanderhall’s upcoming products. You will be responsible for the design, testing, and sourcing of components for new vehicles. You will also need to communicate requirements with vendors and assembly technicians for the proper installation of the components under your responsibility. You will use your experience and training to look for continuous improvements in Vanderhall’s components and products as a whole.

Electrical Engineer 2

• The Electrical Engineer works alongside an existing team of engineers locally, supporting R&D work carried out by the team.
• The Electrical Engineer works alongside an existing team of engineers locally, supporting R&D work carried out by the team.
• Develop and integrate electronics and power systems for electric vehicles.
• Integrate battery packs, BMS, controllers, and charging systems as needed to produce a system that meets the specific requirements.
• Design systems that integrate and fit within space and weight constraints of Vanderhall chassis and body.
• Troubleshooting complex electrical systems and performing root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years minimum experience
• Experience with high voltage high power systems
• Competence in PCB design
• Knowledge of communication protocols a plus
• Knowledge of RF and wireless design a plus
